Why ToolHive exists
ToolHive is built for developers, data workers, writers, Japan life planners, and people comparing salary and tax assumptions across countries. It prioritizes tools that solve a clear copy-paste task, such as JSON validation, JWT inspection, m3u8 playback testing, salary tax estimation, IP location lookup, and DNS checks.
Original guidance on each tool page
Each tool page explains the expected input, the meaning of the result, practical use cases, privacy behavior, and limitations. Estimation tools for tax, visas, pension, trading, or cloud costs clearly frame results as planning references rather than official decisions.
Lightweight and privacy-friendly architecture
The site is local-first where possible. The server is kept for rendering, lightweight APIs, SEO content, and configuration. Tool calculations are not written to the database by default and no user login is required.
